The challenge

The client had several objectives and hired WSI to work on all of them:

1. Website

Client wants to expand the footprint of the company and is targeting more areas of Canada for additional growth. For this reason the owner wanted a new website that better represents the “big broker” feeling that is required to land bigger deals. Site needed to be easily maintained and responsive to work seemlessly on all screen sizes.

2. Visibility on SERP to increase site traffic

The owner also wanted to be come more visible especially when compared to the immediate competition.

3. More Social Media Engagement

Client wanted to drive more engagement with members of the target audience by increasing social media activity.

4. Email Marketing and Newsletters

Client wants to build a better and larger client list to have at least one additional monthly contact point through a newsletter.

The solution

New Website on hosted platform with store integration for searchable listings that can easily be maintained by the client.

• Integrated Review System (https://www.oconnorbusinessbrokers.com/reviews) that allows client to solicit Reviews. This was custom built as the volume for reviews is rather small. Client also did not want a monthly fee for a 3rd party review system.

• SEM to drive targeted traffic using Reach Local platform.

• Monthly content creation for Blog Section if website. https://www.oconnorbusinessbrokers.com/blog

• Monthly Newsletter

• Social Sharing – all new blog posts as well as other events are scheduled and shared on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook

• Cold Email Marketing Campaign. We are acquiring batches of 100 contacts for business owners and send a specifically designed 3 email campaign from personal email accounts.

The results

The client is extremely pleased with the overall design and the functionality of the platform. The campaign just went live about 3 weeks ago. Results will be updated as they become available.
